Don Cesar Beach Resort Spring 2002
St. Petersburg Beach, Florida

Design and Implementation of Landscape, hardscape design and lighting to create a tropical beachside paradise. This historical beachfront treasure was in the midst of a major renovation.

The addition of deck and lounge areas, tiki bar, grille, shade canopies and children's play area provided new opportunities. Lush areca palm screens, Date palm accents, beachside palm clusters , pastel colors and shady palm hammocks are the result.

When the sun set’s this tropical paradise comes into a new life, the landscape lighting adds a dramatic yet mysterious dimension.

 

RED MESA RESTAURANT

Scope of work:
Landscape Design, & Construction, Lighting, Concrete addition, Concrete Staining, Irrigation, Electrical, Water Features.

The Red Mesa is recognized for fresh, eclectic and inventive  Mexican food. When the time came to expand the outdoor waiting area and update the landscape. Littoral Landscapes was the only call.

Invoking a Mexican courtyard theme to the landscape, staining the concrete, reshaping and adding to the existing waiting area and the custom design and fabrication of new seating areas has created an environment not thought possible in such a small space.

From the colorful glass, jasper and concrete benches to the agave's and cactus and water urn in the entry courtyard, the Red Mesa

Angler’s Club Resort
Spring 2002
Cape Haze, Florida

With It’s hidden entry, private marina and island style waterfront living, the Anglers Club Resort beckoned for a tropical Landscape. Low maintenance, color, swaying coconut palms, Royal Palm lined vistas, this landscape design is a few months from being implemented. We can’t wait to see the transformation of this single family home development at the entry to Boca Grande Island.

Consulted with project developer, architect and city planners to design, permit and construct the landscape for this premier fitness facility. The location and visibility of this project required a designed response to environmental, architectural and site related issues. The use of native and drought tolerant plantings, live oak, crape myrtle and palm buffers have provided a successful alternative to the common landscape.
